This device is a shaft about 1.5m long with a handle in the middle mounted on a rotating bearing. One one end of the shaft is a small battery-powered audio oscillator (fixed frequency). You can rotate the shaft above your head, thus making the oscillator take on positive and negative velocities with respect to the listeners. The Doppler effect is very clear.
