Medical Complications - Principally those that result from repeated vomiting:

People suffering with Bulimia usually resemble anorectics in their obsession with food and weight and fear of becoming fat. They may lose some weight, but do not usually fall below a minimally normal weight. It is sometimes easy to miss the diagnosis because the person's appearance may not change noticeably.
