Thirty-Three Years of Marine Science Research and Education

Welcome to the home page of the Marine Science Center, a unit of Northeastern University that supports a broad variety of research, and education programs in marine biology and related fields. Since 1967, the Marine Science Center has sponsored the research of over 100 Masters and Ph. D. students of Northeastern University and other graduate programs. It features a variety of research programs, opportunities for graduate research locally, in Friday Harbor and in Jamaica, the East/West Marine Biology Program, the MSC Summer Program, the Marine Biology Cruise K-12 program, East Point Field Trips, and the R/V Mysis coastal research vessel.
