Reaching Out

Reaching out to the community, and reflecting on how these relationships connect with our desire to love and serve God, are an important part of our ministry.

Once a month, we visit the elderly residents of Morville House, located just a few blocks away from Northeastern. (See our calendar for dates). Morville House is home to a diverse group of people who are eager to share stories about their lives and to hear about what is going on in the lives of young people today.

Students and residents

Students and residents celebrate Easter and the tenth anniversary of our Morville House program, April 2007

Several LECM students also volunteer at nearby Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, which runs a daily afterschool program for youth of all ages. For more information about getting involved, email Tom Marsan.

We invite you to get involved in some or all of these projects and look forward to hearing your ideas about possible new initiatives. Contact Joyce or Judith to sign up.
