HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR PERSONAL TESTIMONY VIDEOTAPES Top Each year the Holocaust Awareness Committee has invited Holocaust survivors to Northeastern University to speak to the Freshman World Civilization and Western Civilization classes. This has been done to promote student awareness of the Holocaust, and is in conjunction with other University-wide awareness activities. It has been hugely successful and to insure that further generations of students have an opportunity to view these dwindling "living witnesses," the committee has videotaped as many presentations as possible. The format for the videotapes is simple - the survivors recount their personal testimonies as they see fit. Following their presentation is a short question and answer period. The length of each testimony is usually about one hour. The videotapes may be viewed in the Media Center.
