Results of External Review of School Psychology Program

During the spring of 2004, an external review was conducted of all graduate programs in the Department of Counseling and Applied Educational Psychology. The review team members were from other universities and other departments within Northeastern. The purpose of the review was to provide an objective assessment of the quality of the programs. The comments below are direct quotes from external review report pertaining to the School Psychology Program. The report clearly indicates that the review team was impressed with the quality of the School Psychology Program.

"There is substantial evidence that this program produces excellent outcomes in students including their scores on the portfolios and their success in obtaining positions as practicing school psychologists following graduation."
