Excell Walker is a natural at the cornerback spot. He has a good forward burst and breaks to the ball well. Walker should see plenty of playing time as he rivals another converted running back, William Griffin, for the left cornerback position. 1998: Started the year as a running back before making the move to defense...had 11 carries for 129 yards, including an 89-yard TD run, all in the fourth quarter of 41-7 blowout of Lafayette. 1997: Redshirt season.
