Noel Taylor - #86
Junior - TE
6'4 - 265
Elmont, NY
Elmont HS
After missing the spring season due to personal reasons, Noel Taylor is hungry for the game and wants to compete. He has great talent and the size and athletic ability to be an impact player in the Atlantic 10 at the tight end position. He will probably back up converted fullback Steve Arienta at tight end, but his playing time will still be significant. 1998: Had three receptions for 25 yards...saw action in six games...primarily a backup to senior Charlie Johnson...hampered by knee injuries but has worked hard to improve leg strength in offseason. 1997: After redshirting in '96, was plagued by injuries during last preseason, but played through them and contributed on the O-line. 1996: Redshirt season. High School: A football standout at Elmont High...led team in receiving yards, touchdowns and tackles as both a junior and senior...named All-Conference, All-County, and Long Island All-Star as a senior...had many other suitors, including IA Temple. Personal: Born May 30, 1979...Sports Management major...Class of 2001. Career Highs: Receptions, 2 vs. Maine (11/21/98)...Receiving Yards, 19 vs. Maine (11/21/98)...Long Reception, 11 vs. Maine (11/21/98).
