A productive runner with great strength and speed, Dominick Sansone is a big part of the future Northeastern offensive backfield. In his first active year with the team, he will see spot duty behind veterans L.J. McKanas and Kem Nwosu while continuing to work on his physical makeup. At 5'7, 176, Sansone is already deceptively strong, benching 370 pounds in the team's summer testing. He also ran a 4.59 40. 1998: Redshirt season. High School: Attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, lettering in both football and track...received All-League and All-County honors as a senior captain for the football team...participated in the County All-Star Game as well as the Nike All-Star Game...rushed for 16 touchdowns and 934 yards (averaged 6.1 yards per carry) as a senior...also a standout in track, running the 100-yard dash and a leg of the 4x100 relay team.
