Joe Rich is one of the strongest Huskies, benching a team-high 435 pounds. He has always been a role player and will continue to contribute in that capacity this season. He will see backup duty on the defensive line or at tight end. 1998: Pushed the starters in practice and came off the bench as a reserve defensive end. 1997: Available for reserve duty at end and on special teams. 1996: Made contributions in practice and as reserve on game day after redshirting in '95. 1995: Redshirt season. High School: Earned three letters in football and four in basketball at Bridgewater-Raynham High...named All-League as a junior and senior in football and three times in basketball...set school hoop mark with over 1400 points.
