Parenteau has worked hard to get into the defensive tackle mix and will have an opportunity to crack the lineup with the departure of two senior tackles as well as Doug Tillberg. He has made the switch from offense to defense and provides the Huskies with a big, strong physical presence. 1998: Played all 11 games as a backup...had one sack for a loss of three yards against Lafayette. 1997: Spent year as a reserve on both sides of the line. 1996: Redshirt season. High School: Earned three letters in both football and wrestling at Cardinal Gibbons High...a two-way star in football; named honorable mention All-County in 1993 and '94...second team All-State and third team All-County as a senior captain in 1995...led team to three District 4A titles...a standout heavyweight in wrestling.
