Ian Nielsen is recovering from a severe right leg injury that occurred last season and could become a factor at defensive end provided he recovers the movement and agility that made him a top Massachusetts recruit two years ago. The coaches are looking for an end to spell both Chris McEwan and John Conille, and Nielsen could be the guy. 1998: Redshirt season.
