

Paul McGonagle - Offensive Assistant

Paul McGonagle will bring an invaluable resource to the Huskies this season. As a former University of Kentucky football player, he will be very useful in helping implement the Kentucky-style offense that Coach Barry Gallup wants to use as part of the game plan this year. McGonagle will be an offensive assistant and will specifically work with Coach Rod Holder and the tight ends in his first season with Northeastern.
Before NU: Assisted in recruiting of high school players for Kentucky while a four-year member of the football team...played on the offensive line and spent time at tight end...student-taught physical education classes and implemented lessons in all spring sports for Parker Middle School (Reading, Mass.) in 1994.
Playing Career: Played offensive lineman and tight end for the Wildcats...began career at Malden Catholic High School where he played football, baseball and hockey. Personal: Earned degree in Sports Management with minor in business from Kentucky in 1999...interests include all sports, peer leadership, and working with children, especially the underprivileged...resides in Boston.
Recruiting: Central New Jersey.
