Brian McCarthy's game has really come a long way. He has worked hard to improve his strength and durability and the although he probably won't start, he will definitely see some reserve action at defensive end. 1998: A solid backup at defensive end, spelling such players as Paul Barry and Kwesi Moody. 1997: A reserve at defensive end...also played on special teams...first career tackle came against James Madison. 1996: Redshirt season. High School: Earned three letters in football, two in baseball and two in basketball at Rockland High...played both tight end and defensive end.
