Marter is one of the team's most dedicated members. He is striving to have the same success in college as he did at the high school level. He should get on the field this year on special teams and is in the mix for time at free safety, where he will be a reserve. 1998: Redshirt season. High School: Attended St. Francis DeSales High, playing football and baseball, and running the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay in track...as a senior football captain, named All-League, All-District and All-State honorable mention...Columbus Dispatch Top Performer for 1997...also All-League and All-District as a junior...team won league title all four seasons; district champs and state Division III champs in '97.
