William Griffin is too good of an athlete to be on the sideline, thus he has been moved from a crowded offensive backfield to defense where he will challenge to start at cornerback. The coaches rated him the most productive player in the secondary this spring. He can run down anyone as evidenced by his 4.4 time in the 40. 1998: Redshirt season.
