Bill DeMalia - #29
Redshirt Freshman - RB
5'11 - 183
Shrewsbury, MA
Shrewsbury HS

After a redshirt season last year, Bill DeMalia came out and had a great start in the 1999 spring season, pressuring Kem Nwosu for the role of primary backup tailback to L.J. McKanas. The result is that in his first active season with the team, DeMalia has moved into the mix in the talented Husky backfield and will have his share of carries. Coach Gallup believes that with DeMalia's ability to catch the ball, he can be very productive in the NU offense for the next four seasons. DeMalia will also play a role on special teams. 1998: Redshirt season.
