Dave Costello has impressed the coaches with his size and speed, which has landed him in the team's regular rotation of receivers. Chronic right knee tendonitis has not managed to slow him down, as evidenced by his strong performance in the annual Spring Game (six catches for 93 yards). 1998: Saw limited action due to nagging right knee trouble...caught first career pass as a Husky, coming in blowout against Lafayette for five yards. 1997: Spent season behind slew of veteran receivers adapting to Husky system. 1996: Redshirt season.
