Sean Connor will back up Matt Comella at fullback this season. He is a bigger back than Matt Comella, which will help him find playing time as he brings a different powerful dimension to the position. With Connor as an option, moving proven blocking fullback Steve Arienta to tight end became possible. 1998: Sat out the season as a redshirt after transferring from Eastern Michigan.
