John Conille - #99
Junior - DE
6'3 - 234
Mattapan, MA
St. Sebastian's HS
Coach Gallup and the staff would have liked to save a year of eligibility for John Conille with a redshirt last year but the Huskies needed depth at end. He backed up Paul Barry and saw regular action. This year, the position Conille worked hard to support is his for the taking. He had a productive spring and continues to build himself up for the long, grueling season to come. Conille is a natural rusher with long arms and, with time, can become one of the better ends in the A10. 1998: Recorded five tackles on the season, four of them unassisted, one for a loss of seven yards...had one sack...played 10 games. High School: Played four seasons of basketball and football and three years of baseball at St. Sebastian's...was a center on the court, an intimidating two-way end on the football field and a first baseman on the diamond...helped make St. Sebastian's a power in football; team was state champs in 1996 and won Independent School League title in '97...two-time All-League selection. Personal: Born Feb. 10, 1978...member of Men with Positive Attitudes (MPA) in high school...enrolled in NU's College of Arts & Sciences...enjoys bicycling and listening to music...Class of 2002. Career Highs: Tackles, 2 vs. Villanova (10/10/98).
