Offensive coordinator Tom Colombo hopes to have another Jeff Reale on his hands with Matt Comella. This year's starting fullback is a solid runner who handles the ball well and is a good target out of the backfield. Steve Arienta's move to tight end was primarily to get both Arienta and Comella more playing time. 1998: Rushed for 215 yards, good for fourth on the team...had four receptions for 24 yards and his first career touchdown was the game-winner in the season opener against New Hampshire...rushed for 71 yards and a TD against William & Mary...had 23 catches for 188 yards, also good for fourth on the team...returned two kicks for 25 yards against James Madison. 1997: Slowed for majority of first active year after breaking right leg in the spring season...saw increased playing time near the end of the year, but did not have first career carry. 1996: Redshirt season.
