Chris Burns is looking to end his Northeastern career on a high note, and the coaches expect him to have a big senior season. With the preseason loss of Doug Tillberg, Burns has a chance to take on a larger role. He has proven to be excellent against the run and will see significant time in short situations. He will battle to start the season at right tackle. 1998: Totaled 13 tackles on the season, one for loss...played in 10 games...supported All-A10 pick Doug Tillberg at the defensive tackle position. 1997: Made nine stops on the season, one for loss...had season-high three tackles against both Rhode Island and New Hampshire. 1996: Recorded three tackles, two for loss, versus Maine in season opener, but suffered season-ending ankle injury...medical redshirt. 1995: Made two stops each against Massachusetts, Delaware and Boston University, with one for loss versus BU.
